Chile Copper Mine Construction Project Strengthens International Cooperation

More than 1,500 tons of LSAW steel pipes have been successfully delivered to Chile to support the construction and operation of one of the country’s largest copper mining companies

More than 1,500 tons of LSAW steel pipes have been successfully delivered to Chile to support the construction and operation of one of the country’s largest copper mining companies. Manufactured in strict accordance with API 5L PSL2 X65 M, ASTM A252, and ASTM A572 GR 50 standards, the pipes provide excellent mechanical strength and structural reliability. The supplied specifications, including 762×7.92mm, 1066.8×12mm, and 457.2×9.53mm, were tailored to meet the diverse technical requirements of the mining project.

The harsh mining environment in Chile places extremely high demands on compression resistance, corrosion protection, and long-term durability. Through advanced production processes and rigorous quality control procedures, each steel pipe achieved precise dimensional accuracy, uniform wall thickness, and high welding integrity. Comprehensive inspections were carried out from raw material selection to final product testing to ensure full compliance with international standards.

Before shipment, all products successfully passed triple inspections conducted by end users, contractors, and independent third-party testing institutions. This achievement highlights strong manufacturing capability and technical expertise in steel pipe production, while further strengthening competitiveness in the global mining and infrastructure sectors. The successful execution of this project lays a solid foundation for future large-scale mining and infrastructure collaborations worldwide.
