Solar greenhouse, short for energy-saving solar greenhouse, also known as warm shed, is composed of gable walls on both sides, enclosure walls, supporting frames and covering materials. The rear wall absorbs solar energy to store and release heat to maintain a certain indoor temperature for the growth of vegetable crops.

Early oval tubes were processed from round tubes, which limited their application due to fixed round tube specifications. Nowadays, they are directly made of galvanized strip steel with adjustable length to reduce promotion restrictions. Greenhouses with oval steel frames have a span of 10-20 meters, length of 50-120 meters, ridge height of 5.0-6 meters and side height of about 1.5-1.7 meters. The greenhouse is covered with 0.15mm anti-dripping film fixed by film pressing lines. Electric film rollers are installed at roof and bottom vents for ventilation and cooling in summer. The whole greenhouse is covered with rainproof thermal insulation quilts outside, and electric rolling machines are equipped on both sides.
Multi-span Polycarbonate Sheet Greenhouse
It has many advantages such as good light transmission, thermal insulation, light weight, high strength, anti-condensation, impact resistance, flame retardancy, economy and durability. Multi-span polycarbonate sheet greenhouses feature large span, spacious and bright interior, good ventilation and high ornamental value. They provide larger space for indoor equipment and personnel movement and better adaptability for internal layout adjustment. Polycarbonate sheets have good elasticity and can be bent into arcs. Their impact resistance is 250-300 times that of ordinary glass. They will not brittle at -40°C or soften at 125°C, with stable mechanical properties under harsh environments. Compared with single-layer glass greenhouses, they can save 50% energy and greatly cut winter operating costs.
